Earlier this year we were contacted by the producers for a popular TV cooking show aired by Brazilian GNT, a major cable network in Latin America. "The Sweet Side of Life" features the vibrant and talented Raiza Costa, who can also be found on The Food Network, as well as through her popular YouTube channel Dulce Delight.
For her upcoming season, Raiza wanted to feature a customized vintage trailer with a big service window and a countertop for food prep and display. The interior needed a fully functional kitchen and a tiny sitting area. Our goal was to create a fun trailer suited for filming and with a 1960's "retro-pop" vibe that would match the character of Raiza and her show. The new season would be filmed while on the road with the trailer, touring organic farms from Los Angeles to San Francisco. As you can see from the videos below, the trip and filming was a great adventure. After the trip the little pink trailer retired to a happy home as a backyard bar in Coronado, Calif.
The unveiling! Brush up on your Portuguese! At minute 3 Raiza sees her trailer
for the first time and gives a full tour.
The film crew documented Raiza's farm fresh culinary creations while on the road in her trailer "Madeleine". All of which can be found on her YouTube channel Dulce Delight.
